Adding motion with Typing Text, Glitch Text, and Gradient Text

Three Creative-category modules bring headline text to life. Each uses Divi’s native text, color, and animation controls, so you get motion without writing any custom CSS.

The three text modules

  • Typing Text renders an animated typewriter effect for dynamic hero headlines — cycle through a list of phrases with configurable speed.
  • Glitch Text adds an animated RGB glitch effect for bold, striking headlines.
  • Gradient Text applies a gradient color fill to headlines and captions.

Using them well

Animated text works best in moderation — reserve it for a single hero headline or section title rather than body copy. Because all three modules sit in the Creative Modules category, you can combine them with dividers and buttons to build a complete hero without leaving the Builder.
